Alternative Incomes for Traditional Fishermen in the Timor Sea/MOU Box Area (Phase III)

AMSAT in joint venture with ANU RSPAS and a Kupang based NGO is implementing the 3rd phase of this activity to extend investigation of options for providing alternative income opportunities for Indonesian fishermen presently utilizing the marine resources of the region known as the MOU Box. This 12 month phase will evaluate new species and products, extend seaweed aquaculture activities and include socio-economic analysis.

Phase III activities commenced in April.
