How we operate

Our overall operations are governed through our Board of Directors.

The Board is supported by company management staff who are based in our Canberra head office and by regional managers in PT AMSAT Indonesia based in Jakarta and AMMSAT Sdn Bhd based in Kuala Lumpur. These core staff lead and coordinate the inputs of our member agencies into the projects we undertake and provide a full range of project management services to ensure effective project delivery.

AMSAT is audited annually by The Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) and has always achieved "unqualified audits".

Our regional offices also provide day to day liaison with clients and partners and ensure that strong institutional relationships can be built and maintained.

The Company also operates regionally based project offices where that is required to meet specific project management requirements. At present one such office is operated in Dili, East Timor, to manage the East Timor Fisheries Development Project which AMSAT is managing in joint venture with Hassall and Associates International.

Previous project offices have been maintained in Hanoi, Vietnam, The Male, Maldives and Suva, Fiji.
